Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Solra Nav handles personal data when you visit solranav.com, purchase motorcycle accessories or electronic components, request support, or use the Solra Trace iOS application.

1. Data controller

The controller responsible for the processing described in this policy is:

Roman Tauler
Sagunt 10
17200 Palafrugell
Spain
NIF: 41530713G
VAT: ES41530713G
Email: [email protected]

2. Information we process

Website visits and security

When you visit the website, our server and service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page, referring page, date and time, language, country, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to deliver the website, protect it from abuse, diagnose problems, and understand aggregate website usage.

The website currently uses Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, for aggregate traffic statistics. Jetpack Stats processes information including IP address, user agent, visited and referring URLs, timestamps, browser language, country, and a WordPress.com identifier or username when a visitor is logged in to WordPress.com. Solra Nav sees aggregate statistics rather than information identifying individual visitors. Automattic states that identifiable Jetpack Stats logs are retained for 28 days.

Orders and guest checkout

You may purchase without creating an account. When you place or attempt to place an order, we may process your name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, products ordered, order value, payment and shipping method, order notes, IP address, browser information, and communications concerning the order. We use this information to process and deliver orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, handle returns and warranties, and comply with accounting, tax, and consumer-protection obligations.

Payments

Online card payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are processed through WooPayments, which is provided by WooCommerce and powered by Stripe. The payment provider receives the information necessary to authorize, process, prevent fraud, refund, and account for the transaction. Full card numbers and card security codes are not stored on our WordPress server. If you select Pay in Person, we record that payment method with the order but do not process an online payment.

Shipping

When Correos España is used to deliver an order, we share the recipient name, delivery address, contact details, and shipment information necessary to deliver and manage the parcel.

Support requests

When you use a support form, we process the information you provide, such as your email address, app version, iOS version, and problem description. Jetpack Forms also records submission metadata such as the date, source page, IP address, and browser user agent. Responses are stored in the site’s WordPress database and an email notification is delivered through our configured Google/Gmail mail service. We use this information only to receive, investigate, and respond to the request, maintain support records, and protect the service from abuse.

Please do not send private GPX files, route coordinates, route filenames, passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information through the support form unless we specifically ask for information through an appropriate secure method.

Newsletter and marketing

We do not currently offer an email newsletter or use personal data for email marketing. If we introduce a newsletter, subscription will be optional and based on separate consent. We will identify the service provider, update this policy before activation, and provide an unsubscribe method in every marketing email. Purchasing a product or requesting support will not automatically subscribe you.

3. Solra Trace iOS application

Data stored on your iPhone

Solra Trace is an offline-first GPX route-surface analysis application. It does not require an account and does not contain advertising or third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Imported GPX files, route coordinates, route filenames, downloaded offline maps, analysis results, exports, route folders, and preferences are processed and stored locally on your iPhone. Solra Trace does not upload GPX files, route coordinates, route filenames, or analysis results to Solra Nav.

Saved analyses, retained original GPX data, and route folders may be included in encrypted iCloud or device backups according to your Apple backup settings. Downloaded regional maps are excluded from device and iCloud backups because they can be downloaded again.

Map catalogue and downloads

The app contacts regions.solranav.com only when you ask it to check the available-map catalogue, download an offline map, or update an installed map. These requests identify the requested catalogue or regional package but do not contain GPX data, route coordinates, route filenames, or analysis results.

The catalogue and packages are delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure and Cloudflare R2. As with any internet request, Cloudflare and our service infrastructure receive ordinary connection information such as the source IP address, requested URL, date and time, user agent, and transfer status. We use this information only to deliver files, maintain reliability, manage capacity, and protect the service. Logs controlled by Solra Nav are ordinarily retained for no more than 30 days unless a longer period is necessary to investigate a security incident, prevent abuse, or comply with law. Cloudflare may retain operational and security information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Diagnostics

Solra Trace does not include a third-party crash-reporting or diagnostics SDK. Apple may make aggregated crash, hang, and performance diagnostics available to the developer when a user has chosen to share diagnostics with app developers in iOS. Apple controls that collection under the user’s device settings and Apple’s privacy terms.

Deleting app data

You can delete saved routes and downloaded maps within the app. Uninstalling Solra Trace removes its local application container from the iPhone, subject to normal Apple device and iCloud backup behavior. Because Solra Nav does not receive your GPX files or analysis results, you do not need to contact us to delete those local files.

Map data

Offline map packages contain data derived from OpenStreetMap. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Orders, payment, delivery, returns, and requested support: taking steps at your request and performing a contract.
  • Invoices, accounting, taxation, consumer rights, and lawful requests: compliance with legal obligations.
  • Website delivery, aggregate statistics, service reliability, fraud prevention, and security: our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website, store, and download service, balanced against the rights of visitors and customers.
  • Optional marketing or non-essential technologies introduced in the future: consent, where required. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

WordPress, WooCommerce, WooPayments, and security features may use cookies or local storage that are necessary for functions such as maintaining a shopping cart, completing checkout, preventing fraud, securing administrative access, or remembering a requested setting. Jetpack Stats records aggregate page-view and performance information as described above.

We do not currently use advertising cookies. Before introducing non-essential analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies, we will update the relevant notices and provide any consent controls required by applicable law. You can also manage cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent the cart or checkout from working correctly.

6. Service providers and recipients

We disclose personal data only when necessary for the purposes described above. Recipients may include:

  • WooCommerce, WooPayments, Automattic, and Stripe for ecommerce and payment processing;
  • Apple or Google when you select their wallet payment method;
  • Correos España for delivery;
  • Automattic/Jetpack for forms, aggregate statistics, security, and connected Jetpack functionality;
  • Google/Gmail for support and transactional email delivery;
  • Cloudflare and Cloudflare R2 for network delivery, security, and offline-map package storage;
  • professional advisers, insurers, banks, and public authorities where necessary or legally required.

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party behavioural advertising.

7. International data transfers

Some providers, including Automattic, Stripe, Google, Apple, and Cloudflare, operate internationally and may process information outside Spain or the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another safeguard recognized under applicable data-protection law. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy notices and contractual obligations.

You can review the providers’ information at Automattic Privacy, Stripe Privacy, Google Privacy, Apple Privacy, and Cloudflare Privacy.

8. Retention

  • Orders, invoices, payment records, shipping records, returns, and related business correspondence: normally six years from the relevant accounting entry, or longer where a specific legal obligation or unresolved claim requires it.
  • Incomplete or abandoned checkout information: normally no longer than 30 days unless needed for fraud prevention or a technical investigation.
  • Support requests: normally 24 months after the last interaction, unless continued retention is necessary for an unresolved issue, legal claim, security matter, or legal obligation.
  • Routine server and download-service logs controlled by Solra Nav: normally no longer than 30 days; relevant security records may be retained until an investigation is resolved.
  • Jetpack Stats identifiable logs: Automattic states that these are retained for 28 days; aggregate statistics may be retained for longer.
  • Newsletter information if a newsletter is introduced: until consent is withdrawn, followed by retention of the minimum suppression information necessary to honor the opt-out and demonstrate compliance.
  • Local Solra Trace data: until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app, subject to your Apple backup settings.

9. Your data-protection rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, or objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We may request information necessary to confirm your identity. We will respond without undue delay and normally within one month, subject to extensions permitted by law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data, including HTTPS, access controls, software updates, backups, payment-provider tokenization, and measures against unauthorized access and abuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children

The website, store, and Solra Trace are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly request personal data from children for marketing or profiling. If you believe a child has provided personal data improperly, contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our products, providers, or legal obligations change. The current version will remain available at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. We will provide additional notice when a change materially affects how personal data is used and applicable law requires such notice or renewed consent.

13. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
